Police Reports 2-15-16
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the following arrests:
Anson Paul, 38, of Houston, Texas, was arrested Thursday at 1:40 p.m. and charged on a warrant on a charge of theft of goods. Paul was also arrested on a warrant for Third Ward City Court for failure to appear on the charge of theft. Paul was processed and released on a $1,000 bond.
Walter Baker Jr., 52, of Eagle Street, Franklin, was arrested Friday at 12:46 a.m. and charged on a warrant for 16th Judicial District Court for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family. Baker was processed and held on a $19,745 bond.
Chitimacha Police Chief Hal Hutchinson reported the following arrests:
Sarah Adams, 22, and Emmie Broussard, 23, both of New Iberia, were arrested Tuesday and charged with criminal trespassing and released on a summons.
Curtis Picard, 27, of Tunica Drive, Charenton, were arrested Thursday and charged on Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office warrants for false imprisonment, domestic abuse battery and violation of a protective order. Picard was released to the Iberia Parish jail.
A 14-year-old male juvenile was arrested Thursday and charged for being ungovernable and incarcerated pending a hearing in juvenile court.
Teddy Thomas, 66, of Lincoln Street, Baldwin, was arrested Friday and charged for hit and run driving, driving under suspension and no proof of insurance. No bond was set.
