Krewe donates flags to Third Ward Court

The American Flag and the Louisiana State flag fly high for the first time in 12 years in front of Franklin City Court on Willow Street.
Krewe of Sucrose President David Naquin and Ball Captain Tony Scelfo donated the American flag and also the Louisiana state flag to the court Feb. 10.
City court dispenses justice to our businesses quickly and fairly. The court also hears traffic and criminal misdemeanor issues weekly.
The court has also recently upgraded with new computers, a case management system, digital recording system and new phones.
The flag will remain at half-mast marking the recent death Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia.
