GOOD FRIDAY
Services at Mt. Era Baptist Church, 406 Lawrence St., Morgan City, 8 a.m. March 25. Seven speakers will discuss the last seven utterances by Jesus from the cross.

SAWMILL FEST
The 26th annual Cypress Sawmill Festival, at Kemper Williams Park near Patterson, is April 1-3. Includes professional lumberjack shows, sports tournaments, arts and crafts, carnival rides, food, live music and more. Admission: $5 per car, April 1; $10 per car, April 2 and 3; or $20 per car for a weekend pass.
