Police Reports 3-18-16

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the Narcotics Division made the following arrests:
Steve M. Scully, 50, of 1027 Palm St., Morgan City, was arrested Thursday at 5:53 p.m. and charged with possession of marijuana. Detectives released Scully on a summons to appear in court.
Brittany N. Burbante, 25, of 644 Russo St., No. 3A, Berwick, was arrested Thursday at 7:42 p.m. and charged on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family. Bail was set at $2,240.
Devante Frank, 23, of 720 Bush St., Morgan City, was arrested Thursday at 8:52 p.m. at 327 Charlotte St. in Patterson, and charged on a warrant for distribution of cocaine. Frank was released after posting a $10,000 bond.
Nickolas J. Morris, II, 28, of Amelia, was arrested Thursday at 12:08 p.m. and charged on a warrant for possession of synthetic cannabinoids, abuse of toxic vapors and violation of a controlled dangerous substance law (drug free zone). Morris was released after posting a $1,500 bond.
Lorenzo C. Merritt, 27, of 101 3B’s Lane, Bayou Vista, was arrested Thursday at 12:40 p.m. and charged on a warrant for distribution of marijuana. Merritt was released after posting $10,320 bond.
Cameron Carter, 28, of Berwick, was arrested Thursday at 4:43 p.m. and charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of Legend Drug (Macrobid) without a prescription. Carter was also charged on a warrant for simple battery and disturbing the peace (obscene language). No bail was set.

Adrian Hixon, 33, of 909 Prairie Road North, Centerville, was arrested Thursday at 7:08 a.m. and charged on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of operating a vehicle with a suspended license and speeding, warrant for failure to appear on the charges of operating a vehicle with a suspended license and operating a vehicle with improper tail lights, warrant for failure to appear on the charges of resisting an officer by providing false information and operating a vehicle with a suspended license, warrant for failure to appear on the charges of operating a vehicle with no insurance and following too close and a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, possession of open alcoholic beverages in motor vehicles, and operating a vehicle with a suspended license. No bail was set.
Dat H. Duong, 48, of 120 Glenwood St., Lot 1, Morgan City, was arrested Thursday at 10:27 a.m. and charged for driving on the right side of roads and possession of Schedule II (cocaine). No bail was set.
Jimmy K. Loveless III, 33, of Golden Meadow, was arrested Thursday at 1:40 p.m. and charged on a warrant for theft of a motor vehicle and theft. No bail was set.
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the following arrest:
Florence Lightfoot, 57, of Willow Street, Franklin, was arrested Friday at 12:43 a.m., and charged on a warrant for 16th Judicial District Court for failure to appear on the charge of issuing worthless checks. Lightfoot was processed and held on a $700 cash bond.
