Children's art show at Everett Street Gallery

St. Mary Parish Gifted/Talented Students’ Art Show begins Wednesday and runs through April 18. Artwork is on display for free at the Artists Guild Unlimited Everett Street Gallery located at 201 Everett St. in Morgan City. Gallery hours are 1 to 4 p.m. Wednesdays-Fridays, and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays. An April 18 Arts Jam will be held at 5 p.m. with several performances. Past performances have includes students singing, instruments, and reading original poetry and short stories. Those attending should bring chairs for the outdoor event. Gifted/talented teacher Zora Bergeron coordinates Arts Jam with along with other gifted/talented teachers and supervisor Debra McClarity. The public is invited.
