Chamber BearFest kickoff is tonight

A St. Mary Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours kicks off the Bayou Teche Black Bear Festival tonight at 6 p.m. at the Teche Theater in Franklin.
It is a wine, cheese and jazz music event with entertainment by Jeremy Benoit.
Admission is $1 and a business card. Sponsors are Cabot Corp., Franklin Foundation Hospital, Dugas Oil and Teche Action Clinic.
The Bayou Teche Wooden Boat Show is also set for this weekend.
