Festival, boat show weekend

Festival attendees were afforded an opportunity to take a guided boat trip into the Bayou Teche National Wildlife Refuge, at top, during the annual Bayou Teche Bear Festival last weekend. Below, live music from Flash Back and other acts were also featured during the festival as well as games, food and fireworks; J.B. Castagnos of Donaldsonville starts up his antique marine engine near the Bayou Teche Wooden boat Show; and Lavender, a visiting Weimaramer, also appeared to enjoy the festivities.
