Sheriff’s office receives donation

Sheriff Mark Hebert recently accepted a $1,500 donation given to the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office by SM Energy of Morgan City. The donation was presented by Shane Wiggins who, on the company’s behalf, expressed appreciation for the services the Sheriff’s Office provides. Steven O’Brien, Regional Land Manager for SM Energy said, “We appreciate the hard work and contributions of the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office...and hope this will assist in your continued efforts.” Sheriff Hebert added, “We greatly appreciate SM Energy’s generosity and their support for our deputies in keeping our communities safe.”
