South Louisiana under flash flood watch until 7 p.m. Monday

NEW ORLEANS (AP) — More rain is in the forecast for a soggy south Louisiana. The ground is saturated from several days of heavy rain fall.

The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood watch until 7 p.m. Monday.

A slow moving cold front puts Louisiana at a marginal risk for severe thunderstorms.

The main concerns will be heavy rain and some strong to severe winds gusts.

One to 2 inches of rain are expected with isolated amounts in excess of 3 inches are possible.
