Police Reprots 5-5-16

Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the following arrests:
Blane Boatman, 30, of Sterling Road, Franklin, was arrested Wednesday at 9:32 a.m. and charged on a warrant for Third Ward City Court for failure to appear on the charges of driving under suspension, no driver’s license and possession of marijuana. Boatman was processed and held on a $1,800 bond.
Irvin Nolan, 35, of Augustine Maze Road, Franklin, was arrested Wednesday at 7:03 p.m. and charged on a warrant for Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on the charge of driving under suspension. Nolan was processed and released to Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Joshua Boudreaux, 31, of Cypress Street, Franklin, was arrested Wednesday at 7:02 p.m. for the charge of simple criminal damage to property. Boudreaux was processed and held on a $1,000 bond.
Shaquille Conner, 25, of Willowood Drive, Franklin, was arrested Thursday at 1:20 a.m. for the charge of possession of Schedule I narcotics-first offense. Conner was also arrested on warrants for 17th Judicial District Court for failure to appear for the charges of possession of marijuana, illegal possession of stolen things and possession of marijuana. Conner was processed and held with no bond set.
Terrance Ballet Jr., 22, of Bud Street, Franklin, was arrested Thursday at 2:28 a.m. for the charges of resisting an officer, possession of Schedule I narcotics with intent to distribute, illegal carrying of a firearm, illegal possession of a stolen firearm, possession of a firearm in the presence of a controlled dangerous substance, transaction involving proceeds from a drug offense and possession of drug paraphernalia. Ballet was arrested on a warrant for Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on the charges of criminal conspiracy, possession of a firearm in the presence of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of marijuana and illegally carrying of a weapon. He was also arrested on a warrants for Morgan City City Court for failure to appear on the charges of driving under suspension and failure to use a turn signal. Ballet was processed and held with no bond set.
