HILLARY ANTHONY HEBERT

September 9, 1945- June 5, 2016
Hillary Anthony Hebert, a native and resident of Morgan City, Louisiana, went home to his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, at 70 years old on Sunday, June 5, 2016. He was surrounded by family and friends at Franklin Foundation Hospital.
Hillary was born in Morgan City on Sept. 9, 1945, to the late Milton Hebert Sr. and the late Thelma Duval Hebert.
A hard worker, Hillary’s career took him all over the country with his wife, father-in-law, mother-in-law and brother-in-law, constructing mausoleums. He was also a master carpenter by trade, recently building beautiful homes in Morgan City and the surrounding areas with Morgan’s Construction. Hillary loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping, fishing, and boating with his family and friends.
Survivors include his loving wife of 31 years, Frances Dean Orgeron Hebert; four children, Stephanie Hebert Dupuy and her husband Troy, Charmaine Hebert Martinez and her husband Jessie, Chad Michael Dupuis and his wife Christie, and Jennifer Dupuis Merriam and her husband Brant; his grandchildren, Ethan and Brianna Breaux, Zachary Dupuy, C.J. and Colby Dupuis, Jordyn Merriam Johnson, Shelby Grace and Brantley Merriam, and Austin, Autumn, and Ashton Martinez; one great-grandson, Aalon Martinez and baby Gideon Johnson, expected to arrive in August; his brother, Milton “Noonie Boy” Hebert Jr.; and two sisters, Diana Guillory and Stella “Pookie” Castille.
He is now reunited with all those who have gone before him, including his parents; one sister, Geraldine Acosta; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Billy and Evelyn Morgan; a nephew, William John Morgan; and two brothers-in-law, Eugene Hebert and L.J. Acosta.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Wednesday, June 8, 2016, at Ibert’s Mortuary Inc. in Patterson from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. The mortuary will re-open Thursday, June 9, 2016, at 9 a.m. until 11 a.m., when a celebration of his life will be held. The Rev. Ronnie Courvillier will officiate. Burial will follow in the Morgan City Cemetery Mausoleum.
Serving as pallbearers will be his seven grandsons, Ethan Breaux, Zachary Dupuy, C.J. Dupuis, Colby Dupuis, Brantley Merriam, Austin Martinez, and Ashton Martinez.
