‘Shades of Shadowlawn’ debut July 16

Techeland Arts Council will present “Shades of Shadowlawn” to showcase St. Mary Parish’s aspiring playwright Parker Felterman from Patterson.
“Shades of Shadowlawn” will have its one and only premiere performance on Saturday, July 16, at the Morgan City Municipal Auditorium at 7 pm.
With the guidance and expertise of Diane Wiltz, Parker will be directing a story of Southern culture and intrigue. St. Mary Parish’s own historic antebellum home, Shadowlawn, is the setting for the murder mystery which takes place in the 1920s.
“This play will be sure to engage and entice our viewing audience to solve the mystery of who the culprit is,” TAC Chairman Judith Allain said.
Adult tickets are $10 and student tickets are $5. Children under 10 are admitted free. Tickets may be purchased from The Lamplighter in Franklin; Bonnie’s Bouquets and Bakery in Patterson; Town and Country Florist in Berwick; and The Frame Shop in Morgan City. Tickets also will be available at the door.
