The St. Mary Community Action Agency is once again sponsoring a school supply drive.

Here is a list of supplies needed most for Head Start children: construction paper, box of 16 color crayons, Fiskars scissors, glue, Kleenex, liquid hand soap, washable markers, doodle pad a nd paper towels.
Franklin added that these donations will also be helpful in assisting the agency with non-federal shares if In-kind funds. Anyone interested in donating, can contact Delores Stewart at 337-828-5703 for more information. All donations can be dropped off at 1407 Barrow Street, Franklin.
The Head Start Program services are free and open to all children between the ages of 3 and 5 who meet all current approved requirements. Standard uniform colors for Head Start children are navy blue pants, shorts, dresses or skorts and white or blue polo-style shirts, short or long sleeves.
