Two Tri-City teens to be charged in Pierre Part home burglary

Two Tri-City area teens have been identified as suspects in an April burglary of a Pierre Part home, Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon said in a news release. The two teens were found already in jail in St. Mary Parish.
Authorities are also searching for a Denham Springs teen wanted in connection with the burglary.
The criminal investigations division has arrested five people, including three juveniles and two adults, in connection with an April 3 residential burglary in Pierre Part, Falcon said.
The homeowner was out of town at the time of the incident and upon return reported that several thousand dollars of personal items had been stolen and the home ransacked, the sheriff said.
During the investigation, detectives were able to identify Kayne Benjamin, Ryan Smith, Christopher James Percle and Tager Matthew Rosson, along with the three juvenile suspects.
The three juveniles have been arrested and charged in connection with the burglary.
Assumption Parish investigators discovered that two St. Mary Parish teens connected to the case were already incarcerated.
A warrant was obtained for Smith, 17, of Francis Street in Patterson, on the charge of simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling. Smith is currently being held in the Morgan City Jail on unrelated charges.
Percle, 17, of Clements Street in Morgan City, also has a warrant for his arrest on the charge of simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling. Percle is currently being held in the Berwick Jail on unrelated charges. Percle had been charged with nine counts of simple burglary and three counts of attempted burglary in connection with a string of June vehicle burglaries in Berwick.
Assumption Parish detectives also obtained warrants for the arrest of Rosson, 18, of Ribbonwood Drive in Denham Springs, charges of simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Rosson remains at large, Falcon said.
