To provide for his family, Rand was a dedicated welder, fitter, and machinist for over 30 years. Following his retirement from Diamond Services, he immediately took up carpentry, which he loved. His second love was smoking garfish in his homemade smoker. (Fact: Rand and his brothers are famous for their smoked garfish.) In his free time, Rand enjoyed visits to the lake to feed the squirrels and ducks.
Rand was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved him.
The family requests that visitation be observed from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Thursday, July 28, 2016, at Twin City Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be held at 7 p.m.
