Police Reports 8-10-16

Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the following arrests:
Jewels Madison, 33, of Ninth Street, Franklin, turned himself into the Franklin Police Department Monday at 9:42 a.m. and was charged on an active warrant for the charge of domestic abuse battery. Madison was booked, processed and released on a $6,000 bond.
Joseph Williams, 28, of Willow Street, Franklin, was arrested Monday at 10:11 a.m. and charged on a warrant for Patterson Police Department for the charge of domestic abuse battery. Williams was booked, processed and released to Patterson Police Department.
Lysander Williams, 47, of Banner Drive, Franklin, was arrested Tuesday at 6:35 p.m. and charged on a warrant for the charge of domestic abuse battery. Williams was booked, processed and held with no bond set.
Glenn Madison Jr., 33, of Ninth St., Franklin, was arrested Tuesday at 10:13 p.m. and charged on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of speeding. Madison was booked, processed and held with no bond set.
St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests:
Ernest Jones, III, 31, of 1030 Martin Luther King Street, Baldwin, was arrested Tuesday at 2:25 p.m. and charged on a warrant for failure to notify law enforcement of a change of address as a sex offender and on a warrant for failure to pay annual registration fee as a sex offender. No bail was set.
Kendall Hines Jr., 17, of 1272 Big Four Corners Road, Jeanerette, was arrested Tuesday at 5:06 p.m. and charged on a warrant for simple burglary (vehicle), resisting an officer, remaining where forbidden and two counts of criminal mischief. No bail was set.
Justin Singleton, 18, of 1008 Irish Bend Road, Franklin, was arrested Tuesday at 11:09 p.m. and charged for speeding. Singleton was released on a summons to appear in court.
Jonathon Miller, 35, of Lake Charles, was arrested Wednesday at 2:07 a.m. and charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated, second offense, improper lane usage, possession of synthetic cannabinoids and possession of drug paraphernalia. No bail was set.
St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the Narcotics Division made the following arrest:
Harvey Morgan Sr., 35, of 113 Rose Park Lane, Bayou Vista, was arrested Tuesday at 5:54 p.m. and charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of Schedule II (methamphetamine) with intent to distribute, possession of legend drug (gabapentin) without a prescription, possession of drug paraphernalia and violation of a controlled dangerous substance law (drug free zone). No bail was set.
