HAYWARD JOSEPH CORMIER

February 13, 1955-August 9, 2016
Mr. Hayward Joseph Cormier, 61, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2016, at Morgan City Healthcare Center.
He was born Feb. 13, 1955, the son of Loyton Cormier and Hazel Marie Hernandez Cormier.
Hayward was a fun-loving soul who enjoyed visiting with friends, cookouts, dancing, and shooting pool; however, his passion was riding his Can-Am Spyder.
Hayward was a dear son and friend that will be missed by all who knew him.
He is sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his longtime friends, Sidney Henry and his fiancé, Miko Katsura; niece, Melinda Hebert of Youngsville; and a host of friends.
Hayward was preceded in death by his parents, Loyton Cormier and Hazel Marie Hernandez Cormier; sister, Elaine Hulin; and best friend, David Gentry.
Sidney and Miko would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Hospice of South Louisiana, Morgan City Health Care Center, Annette Gentry, Katherine and Armond LeBlanc, and Earl King.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
