Meet-and-greet Tuesday for Head Start families

St. Mary Community Action Agency Head Start Program is hosting a meet and greet at 5 p.m. Tuesday for all east parish centers at the Civic Center near Patterson.

The first day of school is Thursday and is a full day.

Children should arrive to school at 8:15 a.m. with school supplies. Children are to be dressed in uniform.

If parents signed up for Head Start transportation services, buses will leave the center on the first day after school at 2:30 p.m. to return their child home.

Parents are encouraged to meet their child getting off the bus at the assigned route drop off. Persons must have a picture ID and be listed on the child information form at the centers to receive the child.
