Patterson man booked on St. Charles warrant

A 63-year-old Patterson man was booked Thursday on a St. Charles Parish domestic abuse warrant, St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert said in a news release.
—John F. Verdin Jr., 63, of Kathleen Street in Patterson, was arrested at 2:18 p.m. Thursday on a St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office warrant charging him with domestic abuse battery.
A deputy received information from the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office that Verdin was wanted on the warrant. The deputy, accompanied by St. Charles Sheriff’s Office personnel, located Verdin at his home and served the warrant. Verdin was booked into parish jail with no bail set.
Hebert reported responding to 38 complaints in the parish and reported the following arrests in east St. Mary Parish:
—Earl L. Perro, 35, of Cleveland Street in Patterson, was arrested at 11:30 a.m. Thursday on a warrant for probation violation. A deputy received information that Perro was in the courtroom at Morgan City court. The deputy made contact with Perro and transported him to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.
—Franklin D. Pearce III, 31, of Pharr Street in Berwick, was arrested at 10:50 a.m. Thursday on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family and on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of possession of Schedule IV drugs, possession of Schedule I drugs, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Pearce turned himself in at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center. No bail is set.
Morgan City Police Chief James Blair reported the following arrest:
—Ciara D. Percle, 29, of Fifth Street in Morgan City, was arrested at 10:29 a.m. Thursday on a warrant charging her with five counts of failure to pay fines.
Percle was transported from the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center to the Morgan City Police Department for active warrants she held for the 6th Ward City Court. Percle was jailed.
Berwick Police Chief James Richard reported the following arrests:
—Amber Montgomery, 25, of Ehrlich Street in Berwick, was arrested at 9:26 a.m. Thursday on the charges of possession of Adderall and possession of Subutex.
—Victoria Prince, 49, of Rayne Court in Morgan City, was arrested at 8 p.m. Thursday on the charge of open container. Prince was released on $300 bail.
Patterson Police Chief Patrick LaSalle reported no arrests.
