FAITH ENEZ BELANGER GUIDRY

March 3, 1925 - August 29, 2016
Faith Enez Belanger Guidry, 91, a resident of Bayou Vista, passed away today, Friday, Aug. 26, 2016, in her home surrounded by loved ones.
She was born March 3, 1925, in Belle River, the daughter of Felix Belanger and Louise Fouriner Belanger.
Faith will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her. She touched many lives with her kindness, love and compassion. Her selfless giving inspired others to give. Her strong faith in God guided her and strengthened her. She served over 25 years of work at Church of God of Prophesy until her health declined.
She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ashley Joseph Guidry; parents, Felix Belanger and Louise Fouriner Belanger; brother, Arthur Belanger; and sisters, Ethel Vaughn, Emma Dell Gaspar and Laura Cloutier.
Visitation will be held at Twin City Funeral Home on Saturday, Aug. 27, 2016, from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. A funeral service officiated by Pastor John Istre will begin at 10 a.m. Faith will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery following services.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to her caregivers, Shamaka Garrett, Debbie Bonner, Tammy Williams, Eloise Verrett, Diane Martin and Ruthie Comeaux, and the staff of Heart of Hospice.
