JASON JAMES HEBERT

June 28, 1971 - September 13, 2016
Jason James Hebert, a native of Franklin and a resident of New Iberia for the past four years, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 45 on Tuesday, September 13, 2016, in New Iberia.
Jason is survived by his wife of eight years, Dawn Wilson Hebert; two children, Malikai Hebert and Mathilda Hebert; his parents, Ronald “Goose” Hebert and Wendy Ruskoski Hebert; three siblings, Monette H. Naquin and her husband, John; Rachelle H. Outlaw and her husband, Jay; and Joshua Hebert and his wife, Robin; three nieces, Isabella Naquin, Emily Outlaw and Ellie Outlaw; and one nephew, Hunter Naquin.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Jack Ruskoski and Billie Anderson Ruskoski; and his paternal grandparents, Budley Hebert and Rita Faucheaux Hebert Echols.
A gathering of family and friends was held Sunday, September 18, at Ibert’s Mortuary in Franklin from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., with a Time of Remembrance held at 3:30 p.m. led by Father Billy Ruskoski.
