BENNIE EARL HUNTER
Minster Bennie Earl Hunter, 61, a resident of Morgan City, La., and native of Texarkana, Texas, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 24, 2016 at 6:05 p.m. at his residence surrounded by family.
Visitation will be observed on Saturday, Oct. 1, 2016 at the Siracusaville Recreation Center, 1110 Grace St., Morgan City, La., from 9 a.m. until funeral services at 11 a.m.. Burial will follow funeral services in the Morgan City Cemetery. The Pastor Samuel Calhoun will officiate the services and Pastor Ron Bias will serve as the Eulogist.
Memories of Minister Bennie Earl Hunter will forever remain in the hearts of his loving wife, Floydell C. Hunter of Morgan City, La.; two sons, Brent Charles and Bennie Charles both of Morgan City, La.; two daughters, Yosheka Carbins of Houma, La. and Andrea Carbins of Morgan City, La.; three brothers, Grant Wesley of Patterson, La., Joseph Hunter and Melvin Lee Hunter all of Lafayette, La.; seven sisters, Doris Wiggins of Belle Rose, La., Mrs. Arthur (Margaret) Dugar, Mrs. Raymond (Wanda) Jackson all of Houston, Texas; Mrs. Clifton (Stella) Lewis of Verdunville, La., Linda Dearing, Mary Helen Hunter and Mrs. James (Frankie Mae) Broussard all of Lafayette, La.; seven grandchildren, three god-children, brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law, and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Minister Bennie was preceded in death by his parents, maternal and paternal grandparents, four brothers, two sisters, and two nephews.
