OUIDA DOMANGUE ACCARDO
December 9, 1934 -November 18, 2016
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2016, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Patterson during an 11 a.m. Mass of Christian burial for Ouida Domangue Accardo, a native of Morgan City, former resident of Patterson, and a 31-year resident of Franklin, who passed away at the age of 82 on Friday, Nov. 18, 2016, at her home. Following the Mass, she will be laid to rest in the St. Joseph Cemetery. Father Michael Russo will be the Celebrant for the Mass with Father Lloyd Benoit concelebrating.
A gathering of family and friends will be held today, Monday, Nov. 21, 2016, at Ibert’s Mortuary in Franklin from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m., with the Holy Rosary being prayed at 7 p.m., led by her Come Lord Jesus friends. Visitations will resume Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Patterson at 9 a.m. and will continue until Mass time at 11 a.m.
Those she leaves to cherish her memory include her husband of 55 years, Francis “Pat” Accardo; three sons, Chris Accardo and his wife Michelle, Glen Accardo and his wife Amy, and Tommy Accardo and his wife Donna; three grandchildren, Dominick Accardo, John Accardo and Elise Accardo; one sister, Adele Granier and her husband Wallace; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lionel Paul Domangue and Lillie Mary Fangue Domangue; one sister, Lucille D. Thibodaux; and one brother, Lionel Domangue.
