VONCILLE 'PEPPE' FRYOU COMEAUX

October 16, 1955 -December 19, 2016
NEW IBERIA — A gathering of family and friends will be Friday, Dec. 23, 2016, from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia, for Voncille “Peppe” Fryou Comeaux, 61, who passed away Monday, Dec. 19, 2016, in Houston.
Interment will be at a later date.
A loving mother, Mrs. Comeaux was born Oct. 16, 1955, in Morgan City, and was a longtime area resident. She enjoyed gardening, being outdoors, cooking, and decorating. Mrs. Comeaux was very active in trials for cancer research.
Survivors include her husband, Gary Comeaux of Broussard; sons, Michael Breaux and wife Erica of Youngsville, and Garrett Comeaux and wife Brittani of Lafayette; her beloved dog, Sophia; brothers, Lennis Fryou and wife Patricia of Morgan City, Frank Parlow III and wife Veronica of San Antonio, and Clint Arceneaux of Gibson; sisters, Doris Fryou and husband Louis of Amelia, Frances Albert and husband Johnny of Loreauville, Darlene Fryou and husband Sanders of Abbeville, and Norma Broussard and husband Kendall of Youngsville; grandchildren, Grace Voncille Breaux, Gabriel Comeaux, and Hayden Breaux; an aunt who was like a sister, Liz Gahn and spouse Johnny of Patterson; aunt, Etal Fryou of Morgan City; brothers-in-law, Larry Comeaux of Kentucky, and Patrick Comeaux and spouse Lisa of New Iberia; and uncle, Mike Comeaux and wife Jacinta of Abbeville.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Isabelle Bellanger; and a brother, Jerry Fryou.
