DONALD THOMAS

Donald Thomas, 53, a native and resident of Patterson, died Thursday, June 30, 2016, at his residence.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 8 a.m. until services at 11 a.m. at the Patterson Civic Center, Brother Stanley Rankins officiating. Burial will follow in the Home Industrial Cemetery in Patterson.
He is survived by two daughters, Markita S. Darnell and Donnesha Darnell, both of Houston; his mother, Hattie Mae Wilson of Patterson; four brothers, Ivory Wilson of Algiers, Gene Eric Grogan of Dallas, Ronald Thomas of Gonzales, and Reginald Thomas of Houston; five sisters, Janet G. Taylor of Walls, Mississippi, Sandra Grogan of Patterson, Derise Major of Charleston, South Carolina, Charlita R. Thomas of Baton Rouge, and Donnette Webber of Broussard; two grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, a brother and one sister.
