ALBERT EUGENE WATSON

Albert Eugene Watson, 72, a resident and a native of Morgan City, passed away at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 27, at his residence.
Visitation will be observed from 9 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral Monday, Jan. 2, at the Mt. Era Baptist Church 406 Lawrence St. in Morgan City. The Rev. Norman A. Stovall will officiate at the funeral. Burial will follow funeral services in the Morgan City Cemetery.
He is survived by three daughters, Millette Robinson, Paulette Watson, and Dawn Watson all of Morgan City; two brothers, Larry Watson of Breaux Bridge and Raymond Ruffin of Morgan City; six sisters, Vera L. Jones, Elyven M. Bobb, Patsy A. O’Gwin, Kathryn R. Thomas, and Helen Mae Collins, all of Morgan City and Mrs. Troy (Joyce E.) Matthews of Schriever; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, one sister, two brothers, a son-in-law, sister-in-law, and four brothers-in-law.
