Anthony Joseph Cutrera

Anthony Joseph Cutrera, 84, a native and resident of Morgan City, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 22, 2015.
He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. A successful businessman in the Morgan City community, he donated his time and resources wherever necessary.
He is survived by his wife, Garland Link Cutrera; children, Mary Beth C. Driskell and husband, Charles, Penny Marie C. Naquin and husband, Robert, Maria Aileen Heymann and husband, Jules, Deidra Ann Verdin and husband, Noel, Laura Lynn Cutrera, and Toni Lynn Henry and husband, Bill; stepson, Robert Joel Magee; sister, Marylena Morella; special grandson, Hanson Michael Cutrera; and numerous other grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Vincent and Mary Cutrera; sons, Michael Frances Cutrera and Anthony Joseph Cutrera Jr.; and brothers, Peter Cutrera and Lucien Cutrera.
Visitation will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Saturday, Jan. 24, 2015, from 8 a.m. until service time at 10 a.m. Entombment will follow in Morgan City Cemetery Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Anthony’s honor to the Cancer Society of America or the charity of your choice.
