BARRY ‘BOLO’ PERSILVER

Funeral services for Barry “Bolo” Persilver will be held Wednesday, July 6, 2016, at 3 p.m., at MK Dixon Funeral Home in Baldwin. The Rev. Chris Holloway will conduct the service.
He will be interred in the Chitimacha Mausoleum on the Chitimacha Tribe of LA Reservation.
Visitation will be Wednesday, July 6, 2016, at 11 a.m. until the time of service at MK Dixon Funeral Home.
Barry was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He loved his wife and soulmate of 40 years. He loved hunting, fishing and going to the camp. He loved telling stories and jokes. He loved his two dogs, Sissy and Sassy. He will be deeply missed.
Cherishing wonderful memories is his wife, Julie Bernard Persilver of Charenton; one daughter, Kashyra Persilver and her fiancé, Jackie Lewis of Charenton; two grandchildren, Lil Barry and Rashad, both of Charenton; one brother, Roy Persilver and his wife, Margie of Mississippi; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Barry was preceded in death by his father, Leo Persilver Sr.; mother, Nelly Persilver; three sisters, Berdie Mae Johnson, Verda Hebert and Gertie Bailey; and two brothers, Leo Persilver II and Russell Persilver.
