BARRY JAMES 'PEE WEE' MARTIN

Barry James “Pee Wee” Martin, a lifelong resident of Morgan City, Louisiana, passed away Sunday, May 3, 2015, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
Pee Wee was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He was a die-hard wrestling fan, and he enjoyed joking and picking on his family and friends. He was one that always had a smile on his face and a kind word for all. He will be sadly missed by all.
Pee Wee is survived by his mother, Dorothy C. Martin of Morgan City; brothers, Willie A. Martin Jr. and wife, Caren, of Gray, Louisiana, and Russell P. Martin and Kennith A. Martin of Morgan City; one sister, Paula M. Strickland of Amelia, Louisiana; numerous nieces and nephews; and a close family friend, John C. Smith.
Pee Wee was preceded in death by his father, Willie A. Martin Sr.; one sister, Judith “Judy” M. LeBlanc; one nephew, George Thomas “Tommy” Nix; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lucien Charpentier; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Eno Martin; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Wednesday, May 6, 2015, from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Pee Wee will be laid to rest Friday, May 8, 2015, at 11 a.m. in the Morgan City Cemetery.
