BERNADINE ELIZABETH ROVARIS-IRVING
Bernadine Elizabeth Rovaris-Irving, 89, a resident of Morgan City and native of New Orleans, displaced by Hurricane Katrina, died Monday, December 1, 2014, at her daughter’s residence in Morgan City.
Irving was a retired secretary for Dillard University.
Visitation will be from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m., on Saturday, Dec. 13, at the Corpus Christi Church, 2022 Saint Bernard Ave. in New Orleans, with a rosary being recited at 9 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in the St. Louis #1 Cemetery in New Orleans.
Cherished and divine memories will forever be remembered by her loving and devoted children, Felix E.P. Irving II and Sharon Ann Irving, both of Morgan City; one sister, Theresa Vivian Rovaris-Morris of Lake City, FL; two grandchildren; three great grandchildren; as well as several other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Mrs. Irving was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and a sister.
