BETTY FREDERICK LOUVIERE

Betty Frederick Louviere, a native and lifelong resident of Franklin, passed away at the age of 85. A loving wife, mother, friend, and woman of faith, she joined her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2017, at 9:11 a.m. with her husband, children and grandchildren by her bedside.
She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Stanley Louviere; her seven children, Skee Louviere and his wife Cathy, Ladd Louviere and his wife Pam, Blaine Louviere and his wife Rachel, Corey Louviere and his wife Carol, Amber Soprano and her husband Kim, Mikelyn Louviere and her companion Charles Percle, and Jondalyn Louviere and her companion Todd Martin; 20 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and six siblings, Donnie Frederick, Terrell Frederick, Sylvia DeMahy, Jeanette Pichoff, Diane Stelly and Viola Juneau.
She was preceded in death by her son, Reese Anthony Louviere; her parents, Viola and Didier Frederick; siblings, Hazel Frederick, Charles Frederick, Barbara Choate, Carolyn Chatman, Tommy Frederick, Jimmy Frederick, Wayne Frederick, and Michael Frederick; and her in-laws, Bill DeMahy, Raymond Stelly, R. J. Pichoff, Vernon Juneau and Ray Choate.
Her favorite pastimes were spent dancing with her husband, traveling with their friends, babysitting many children, playing cards with her family, doing Seek-A-Word, watching game shows and cooking for her family.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, Jan. 21, 2017, at 11 a.m. at the Church of Assumption. She will be laid to rest in the Franklin Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. at the church, with the Holy Rosary being prayed at 10 a.m. Fr. Michael Russo will be the Celebrant for the Mass with Fr. Lloyd Benoit concelebrating.
