Carl Shuflin

A memorial service for Carl Shuflin, 90, who passed away Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2015, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 11, 2015, at his residence, 425 Birchwood Lane, Fort Worth, Texas.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Vitas Innovative Hospice Care, 1400 Eighth Avenue, Third Floor, Building C, Fort Worth, TX 76104.
Carl was born in El Paso, Texas, on Aug. 16, 1924. He was employed by Loffland Brothers Drilling for 40 years. He was a longtime resident of Bayou Vista, Morgan City and New Iberia. After retiring from the oil field in 1985, he settled in Fort Worth.
Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Earlene Shuflin; one son, Reese J. Shuflin and wife, Jan; two grandchildren, Bradley Shuflin and wife, Jade, and Ryan Shuflin; and three great-grandchildren, Hunter, Grayden and Wyatt Shuflin.
