Carolyn A. Moss, 66, a native of Abbeville and a resident of Franklin, died Sunday, July 20, 2014 at 7:25 p.m., at her residence.
Carolyn was a retired X-Ray Technician for the Teche Action Clinic.
Memorial service was held Friday, August 1, 2014 at Jones Funeral Home Chapel in Franklin, at 2 p.m.
Carolyn, “Moss” as she was known, leaves to cherish her memories her spouse, Sabrina Perez of Franklin; one son, Christopher (Diana) KoKo of Honolulu, Hawaii.; four daughters, Chelsea May Lily Koko Hope Brown of Anchorage, Alaska, Denniell (Dylon) Plummer of Franklin, Leticia Fusilier (Curtis) of San Diego, California and Dominique Perez (Mark Washington) of Franklin; furry daughter/friend, Paris Moss; two brothers, Nolan Darby of Kenner and Robert Darby of Abbeville; one sister, Flora Darby of Shreveport; best friends, Alice Drefchinski, Myra Bustilo, Danna Bogan, Herman Grant, Southall “Toes,” Sharlene Williams, Roxy Vital, Deb and Pat, and Mary and Shannon Carson; 10 grandchildren; three godsons; a goddaughter; a sister-in-law, Annie Darby of New Iberia; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
“Moss” was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Veola Moss; two sisters, Marjorie Toon and Margaret Kiah; and a brother, Alvin Darby.
