CHARL LEA SHINN BARRILLEAUX

Memorial services will be conducted for Charl Lea Shinn Barrilleaux, 67, on Wednesday, May 6, 2015, at 10 a.m., at the First Baptist Church in Franklin with the Rev. Paul Vandercook officiating.
A gathering of the family will be at the church on Wednesday, May 6, 2015, from 9 a.m. until the service time.
A native of Santa Rita, NM, a resident of Jeanerette and a former resident of Hurley, NM, Mrs. Barrilleaux passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2015, at 2:59 p.m., in a Lafayette hospital.
She was the former administrator at the Franklin Nursing Home and an employee at Dugas Oil in Franklin. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Franklin. She loved animals, crafting, going to flea markets and especially loved her family.
She is survived by her husband, Ray P. Barrilleaux Sr. of Jeanerette; her daughter, Chantelle Fisher of Hammond; her son, Ray P. Barrilleaux Jr. and his wife, Brandi of Lafayette; her sister, Denise Wallin of Tucson, AZ; her grandchildren, Cody Smith of Franklin, Krystal Poche’ of Prairieville, Charlie Barrilleaux and Landry Barrilleaux, both of Lafayette; and her nieces, Leah Wallin of Jeanerette and Kerry Bazewicz of Monahans, TX.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mildred Harrison Shinn.
