CHARLES ‘LIL BUE’ RENTHROPE

Charles “Lil-Bue” Renthrope, 71, a resident and native of Franklin, passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at 1:30 p.m., at the Franklin Health Care and Rehabilitation Center.
Visitation will be observed on Friday, June 19, at Jones Funeral Home in Franklin, from 8 a.m. until funeral services 1 p.m. Ministers Preston Watson and Willie Jones will officiate the services. Burial will follow in the St Jules Catholic Church Cemetery in Franklin.
Many cherished and divine memories of “Lil-Bue” will forever be remembered by his loving wife, Sheril Jones-Renthrope of Lafayette; four sons, Wayne Paul Jones of Opelousas, Eric Renthrope (Eva) of Morgan City, Charles Ray Renthrope (LaToya) of Dallas, TX and Glynn Hatcherson of Firestone, CO; two daughters, Kathy Ireland Thomas (Brandon Sr.) of Houston, TX and Chasetle Tiny Jones-Chatman (Rodney) of Lafayette; 16 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; as well as several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Charles was preceded in death by his father, Henry Renthrope Sr.; his mother, Cecile Nimrod-Renthrope; one son, Marcus Ray Jones Renthrope; and a brother, Henry Renthrope,
