Christa Lynn Quain

July 21, 1966 — July 3, 2014
Christa Lynn Quain went to her heavenly reward at the age of 47, Thursday, July 3, 2014. Christa was born and raised in Morgan City, but resided in Washington State with her military husband of 16 years, Sargeant First Class Robert Quain.
Christa leaves behind to cherish her memory her three daughters, Ashley Guidry, Jasmine Guidry and her fiance, Shane Scully, and Violet Quain; her father, Frank Adams Sr.; two grandsons, Robert Alexander Guidry and Cory Thomas Scully; three sisters, Thelma Prestenbach and her husband, Holly, Tonya Billiot and her husband, Wayne, and Teresa Adams and her husband, Anthony; one brother, Frank Adams Jr. and his wife, Elainea; numerous nieces, nephews, friends and family; and her dog, Brees.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Keffey Adams; and her niece, Kayla Boudreaux.
Christa lived life to the fullest. Family and friends were her greatest joy. She loved family get-togethers, she loved cooking and was a huge LSU fan. In Christa’s many years of travel as a military wife, she brought a little Southern charm everywhere she went. Each town she lived in she would make friends that would soon become like her own family. Her love for life, family, and friends will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Her pallbearers will be Jacob Liner, John Chesteen, Jeremy Chesteen, Anthony Adams Jr., Jessie Adams and Shane Scully. Honorary pallbearer will be Martin Quain.
The family requests that visitation be observed Saturday, July 12, 2014, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Hargrave Funeral Home, with the attire for Saturday being purple and gold in honor of Christa’s love for LSU. Visitation will resume Sunday, July 13, 2014, from 9 a.m. until time of services at 1 p.m. with Pastor Frank Peltier officiating services. Christa will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
