CLARENCE ‘POPPY’ CLARK III

Clarence “Poppy” Clark III, 46, a native and resident of Franklin, died Saturday, October 25, 2014 in Centerville, at 8 a.m.
Funeral will be Friday, Nov. 14 at Jones Funeral Home in Franklin, at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in the Pecot St. Cemetery.
“Poppy” leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Carlene Gibson-Clark of Baldwin; his father, Clarence Clark Jr. of Franklin; one son, Darius Gardon of Franklin; six daughters, Kearius Gardon, Engwan Joseph Butler of Verdunville, Victoria Burrell of Baldwin and Sierra Burrell of Cameron, NC; four brothers, Tarence Clark Sr., Joseph McDaniel and Clarence Reed, all of Franklin, and Travion Reed of Colorado Springs, CO; four sisters, Donna Wilson and Loretta C. Clark, both of Franklin, Johnett Clark and Kai Clark, both of Lafayette; 11 grandchildren; two special nieces; and a host of other nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Mr. Clark was preceded in death by his mother and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
