CLARENCE LANDRY SR.
Clarence Landry Sr., 90, a native of Patterson, Louisiana and resident of Sulphur, Louisiana, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2016, peacefully in his sleep.
Clarence loved his family and friends and loved Cajun music and he loved to eat! Clarence loved his priest, Father Andrews Kollannoor, M.S., who made him feel at peace. Clarence looked forward to family gatherings and rosaries every Wednesday.
Clarence is survived by his fur babies, Lil Bit and Bella; his 11 children, Beverly Boudreaux (Blackie), Clarence “T-Boy” Landry Jr. (fiancé, Sherry Monk), Brenda Benoit (Edward), Wanda O’Quain (Frank), Ranelle LaBove (Mitch), Robert Landry (Sabrina), Corinne Faye Burnworth (Ralph Sr.), Marilyn Landry, Marian Palumbo, Tammy Terro (Randy) and Danny Duplechain; one sister, Beryl Landry Gaudet of Morgan City; 44 grandchildren; 144-great-grandchildren; and 18 great-great-grandchildren.
Clarence was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Mae Landry; two daughters, Patricia O’Quain and Betty Clostio; his parents, Pierre “Numa” Landry Jr. and Elvina Lee Landry; brothers, Edward Landry, Herbert “Buck” Landry and Hubert Landry; and sisters, Agnes L. Rodrigue, Grace L. Tudury, AraMae L. Hughes, Ella L. May, Shiray S. Baudoin, Irene and Beverly.
Visitation will be Sunday, Dec. 18, 2016, from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a Rosary at 6 p.m. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home Chapel, 107 W. Napoleon St., Sulphur, LA 70663.
Funeral services will be Monday, Dec. 19, 2016, at 2 p.m. at Our Lady of LaSalette Catholic Church. Burial will follow at 3 p.m. at Mimosa Pines Cemetery South.
