CLAUDELL WATSON

Claudell Welsh Watson, 79, a native and resident of Morgan City, died Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2016, at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans.
Visitation will be Wednesday at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Morgan City from 8 a.m. until services at 11 a.m., the Rev. Larry Frank Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Morgan City Cemetery.
She is survived by a son, Troy Watson Sr. of Morgan City; one sister, Lille Charles of Morgan City; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two brothers-in-law; a sister-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son, a daughter, a sister, and two sisters-in-law.
Jones Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
