CONNELLY 'BRIAN' VINING

October 15, 1966 -November 3, 2016
Connelly “Brian” Vining, 50, a resident of Calumet, passed away Thursday, Nov. 3, 2016, at Ochsner’s in New Orleans.
Brian was born Oct. 15, 1966, in Morgan City, the son of Herbert Connely Vining and Judith Ann Belanger Vining.
Brian was a caring and witty person. His friends will miss him sharing photos of his cooking. He loved riding on his motorcycle and four-wheeler. He was an avid shooter and won trophies in many gun competitions. He loved going hunting with his friends and Dad. His favorite pastime was cooking, fishing, gardening, listening to music, and spending time with Bee Bee, his Chi-Terrier.
He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his sister, Valerie Leigh Bering and husband John of Jeanerette; one niece, Stephanie Bering of Jeanerette; and two aunts, Cheryl Stelly of Berwick, and Ellen Grote and husband Tommy of Lafayette.
Brian was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert Connely Vining and Judith Ann Belanger Vining.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2016, at Twin City Funeral Home with Rev. John Locascio officiating. A visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. today, Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2016, at the funeral home with the visitation resuming Wednesday morning from 9 a.m. until the service time. Following services, Brian will be laid to rest in the Berwick Cemetery.
