DAISY MAE JACKSON METZ

Daisy Mae Jackson Metz, 67, a resident of the St. Joseph Community, died Monday April 6, 2015, at 9:06 p.m., at Thibodaux Regional Medical Center following a short illness.
Musical service Friday, April 17, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Otis Mortuary Chapel.
Visitations will be observed Saturday, April 18, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., at Special Providence Baptist Church in Baldwin. Burial rites will be read Saturday, at 11 a.m., at that church, with the Rev. W.J. Otis officiating. Interment will follow in the Special Providence Cemetery.
Survivors include her stepmother, Laura Bell Joshua of Franklin; two sons, Rufus Jackson Jr. and Delana Jackson, both of Sioux City, IA; five stepsons, Dwayne, Darnell, Terrell Jackson, Gary Metz and Theoplious Batiste; three daughters, Angelia Picard, Barbara Jackson and LaHouma Jackson, all of Franklin; six stepdaughters, Cynthia Metz, Patricia Metz, Wanda Coleman, Tammy Metz, Yolanda Metz and Letina Edwards; two brothers, Melvin Davis and Kerry Davis, both of Franklin; three stepbrothers, Lawrence Joshua of Los Angeles, CA, Rev. Xavier Joshua of Mississippi and Glenn Joshua of Lafayette; four sisters, Vivian Matthews, Tammy D. Thomas and Maxine Randle, all of Franklin, and Terry Dwyer of Jeanerette; two stepsisters, Umeki Harris of Franklin and Mia Farrow of Los Angeles, CA; one uncle, Eugene Davis of Franklin; 41 grandchildren; and 22 great grandchildren.
The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of preparations.
