David W. Johnson Jr.

David Wayne Johnson Jr., 27, a resident of Patterson, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2014.
David was born on Oct. 14, 1987, in Morgan City, the son of David Wayne Johnson Sr. and Angela Lombas.
David was a man of many talents, as he was an excellent mechanic who loved working on cars and enjoyed carpentry work as well. He loved to go hunting, fishing and scrounging around for old antiques. He enjoyed cooking and loved listening to music. David loved to play pool and was a member of the APA Pool League. Of all the things that David enjoyed doing in his life, spending time with his family and friends was his favorite. He had a smile on his face that would light up any room and had a wonderful sense of humor.
He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his mother, Angela Lombas Guillotte of Patterson; stepson, Chase Champagne of Morgan City; one sister, Sherrica Theriot and husband, Brent, of Bayou Vista; one brother, Miguel Gage Guillotte, of Bayou Vista; one stepbrother, Mikie Guillotte, of Bayou Vista; one stepsister, Leann Guillotte, of Amelia; two nephews, Derrick Mayon Jr. and Jake Hebert; one stepnephew, Hunter Theriot; five aunts, Linda Grass, Tonya Hebert, Elaine Ackman and husband Rufus, Marcie Leon and husband Wilton, Cathy Crane and husband Chip; two uncles, Steven Johnson and Donovan Lombas; godparents, Tracy Ackman and Scott Ackman; two best friends, Garrett Pierce and Charlie Brown; and numerous cousins.
David was preceded in death by his father, David W. Johnson Sr.; one brother, Aron Michael Johnson; grandparents, Albert and Dorothy Johnson, and Gilbert and Emily Morgan Lombas; stepgrandmother, Elnora Lombas; one nephew, Brennen Theriot; and one cousin, Elisabeth Ackman.
Funeral services were held at 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 28, 2014, at Twin City Funeral Home. A visitation was held from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. Sunday at Twin City Funeral Home.
