Donald Ray Fontenot

Donald Ray Fontenot passed away unexpectedly at age 53 in Deltone, Fla., on Dec. 26, 2013.
Donald was the son of Genevieve Lee Dowell. He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Clifford Patricia Allen and her husband, “Butch” Allen. He is also survived by his brothers, Urell J. Fontenot and his brother’s wife, Barbara, and Winn Dale Dowell. He also is survived a host of nieces and nephews; six great-nieces and great-nephews; and his beloved Molly.
He was preceded in death by his father, Urell J. Fontenot; stepfather, Winford Dowell; his maternal grandparents, William and Gertrude Lee; and paternal grandparents, Maurice and Olivia Fontenot.
Private memorial services were conducted on April 22, 2014, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Joe Chacko of St. Andrew Catholic Church in Amelia. He was an organ donor with Trans Life of Florida. Many thanks to friends and family for their love and support.
