DORIS RUTH FEAST-SOLCO

On Friday, December 5, 2014, God sent his angel at 11:47 p.m. to deliver Doris Ruth Feast-Solco, 88, a resident of Jeanerette, to her eternal resting place.
Visitation will be from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m., on Saturday, Dec. 13, at the St. Paul United Methodist Church in Jeanerette, with Order of the Eastern Star Rights, beginning at 10:30 a.m. A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in the St. Peter Cemetery in Jeanerette.
Cherished and divine memories of “Mu” will forever be remembered by her loving and devoted three daughters, Cynthia Jones, Jewelen F. Gordon-Crawford and Gerselda S. Bourgeois (Troy), all of Texas City, TX; three sons, Rayford A. Gordon, Curtis J. Gordon and Joe K. Solco, all of Jeanerette; special ones she raised as her own child, Maureen Henderson and Tavias Gordon of Jeanerette; two sisters, Effie F. Green of Jeanerette and Wanda F. Ceasar (Stafford) of Ashton, LA; one brother, Harry V. Feast of Jeanerette; two sisters-in-law; 16 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; as well as several other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
“Mu” was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, four brothers and a grandchild.
