ELVIS RUSKIN COLAR

Elvis Ruskin Colar, 58, a resident and native of Jeanerette, died suddenly Saturday, November 21, 2015, at 8:05 a.m., at his residence.
Visitations will be observed Saturday, Nov. 28, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., at First Jerusalem Baptist Church in Jeanerette.
Burial rites will be read Saturday, at 11 a.m., at that church, with the Rev. Arthur Alexander officiating. Interment will follow in the Sun Rise Cemetery in Jeanerette.
Survivors include his mother, Mary Dell Williams Colar; and one brother, John H. Colar Jr. of Washington, DC.
The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of preparations.
