ETHEL MAE WALTER
Ethel Mae Walter, 90, a native and a resident of Franklin, died Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at Franklin Foundation Hospital, at 3:55 a.m.
Visitation will be Saturday, June 28, at the St. Joseph Baptist Church in Franklin, from 9 a.m. until funeral services at 11 a.m. Committal services and burial will follow in the St. Joseph Church Cemetery.
Ethel Mae was employed as a Packer at the Crab Factory Packing Company, where she later retired.
Mrs. Walter leaves to cherish her memories her five sons, George L. Bolden of New Orleans, Eugene (Gloria) Walter and Dallas (Jeanette) Walter, both of Jeanerette, Freddie (Caroline) Williams of Franklin and Darrell (Bernadette) Walter of Miami, Florida.; three daughters, Rev. Niecey (Micheal) Deroson of Alexandria, Thelma M. Batiste and Dianna Walter, both of Franklin.; two sisters, Lillian Bolden and Jessie Bolden, both of Franklin; 27 grandchildren, 123 great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Ethel was preceded in death by: her parents, her husband, three children, five brothers and four sisters.
