ETHEN J. WILLIS JR.

Ethen J. Willis, Jr., 78, a resident of Patterson, La. and native of Woodside, La. passed away on Friday Dec. 23, 2016 at The Carpenter House of St Joseph Hospice in Lafayette, La.
Visitation will be observed on Saturday January 7, 2017 from 8 a.m. until funeral services at 11 a.m. at the Good Hope Baptist Church in Patterson, La. with Pastor Patrick T. Jones, officiating the services. Burial will follow funeral services in the Shield Cemetery in Patterson, La.
Memories of Ethen will forever remain on the hearts of his loving and devoted wife, Elnora R. Willis; four sons, Ethen J. Willis, III both of Patterson, La.; Deon Brown of Rochester, NY; Gerren Willis of Frankfort, KY and Toi Willis of Fort Braggs, NC; one daughter, Jennifer Willis of Hinesville, GA; one brother, Henry Willis, Sr. of Franklin, La.; two sisters, Mrs. Leon (Mildray) Smith of Brooklyn, NY and Louise Mills of Mansfield, TX; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; two God-children, five sisters-n-laws, one brother-in-law; his furry children and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends, two daughters-in-law,
Ethen was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, grandson, and a God-daughter.
