EUGENE LEBLANC SR.

Mr. Eugene “Mickey” Leblanc Sr. passed away early Wednesday, May 27, 2015, at his home in Broussard. He was born in Houma, Louisiana, on Dec. 12, 1932.
He was a one-of-a-kind man who brought laughter and smiles to everyone around him. And he was a charmer and a flirt, even to the end. He was the former Homecoming King at Hanson High School and he loved sports. Football, baseball, basketball and boxing were a few of the things he loved to watch. He also raised over 100 dogs and was a breeder expert.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Madalyn; and his siblings, Willie Jr. and Earline.
He is survived by his children, Deborah Stiel, Penny Mensman, Eugene “Sonny” Leblanc Jr, Patti Letcher, and Dana Leblanc; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
