FLAVIA “PAT” DUPUY BROUSSARD
September 5, 1933 – September 14, 2016
Funeral services were held Saturday, September 17, 2016, at 1 p.m. at Ibert’s Mortuary in Franklin for Flavia “Pat” Dupuy Broussard, a native of Patterson and a resident of Franklin for over 60 years, who passed away at the age of 83 on Wednesday, September 14, 2016, at Iberia Medical Center following a brief illness. Pat was laid to rest with her husband and sons in the Franklin Cemetery. The Rev. Sue Pugh conducted the services. A gathering of family and friends began at 9 a.m. at Ibert’s and continued until time of service.
Survivors include her four siblings, William Dupuy and his companion, Deborah; Ann D. Francis, Lynn Rogers, and Homer A. Dupuy Jr. and his wife, Judy; one grandson, David Savoy; one great grandson, Andrew Savoy; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Relius “Bruce” Broussard; her sons, Johnny Broussard and Carroll Gene Broussard; her parents, Homer Adam Dupuy and Flavia Landry Dupuy; four brothers, Jimmy, Louis, and George Dupuy, and an infant brother; one half-brother, Ulysses Dupuy; and one half-sister, Bernadette D. Duhon.
