FRANK BOLDEN

Frank Bolden, 71, of Renton passed away on April 14, 2015. He was born in New Orleans on September 9, 1943 to Jefferson and Shaldonia Bolden.
Frank received under graduate degrees from Seattle and Central Washington universities. Graduate work included completion of course work for the doctor of education - Fielding University, Washington State Principal’s Certificate - Seattle Pacific University and a master of education degree - City University.
He served in the US Army from April, 1964 until April, 1966, and was employed by the Seattle School District as an educator since September, 1978.
Frank, a member of Bryn Mawr United Methodist Church, formerly a longtime member of Peoples Institutional Baptist Church, had a passion for music. He served as minister of music at Peoples Institutional (28 years) and long term at Tabernacle, Martin L. King Jr., and Daystar Baptist churches, and Spruce Street Seventh Day Adventist Church.
He is survived by daughters Cecie Streitman and Jervaise Bolden; two granddaughters, Serena and Sasha Streitman; mother of his children, Mary Boles; two sisters; one brother-in-law; four sisters-in-law and a host of other family and friends.
